Berlin International Gaming rebuild strong lineup around Don Arts
Berlin International Gaming (BIG), a Germany-based organization competing in the DACH circuit, has rebuilt its roster around Finn-Lukas “Don Arts” Salomon. The team announced its roster, which packs quite a punch.
BIG’s rebuild was no surprise as Janik “Jenax” Bartels joined SK Gaming, and as Juho “NilleNalley” Janhunen joined Copenhagen Flames in the Nordic circuit. However, the quality of the hires is a step above what they had. To begin with, former Giants Gaming support SirNukesAlot is the biggest hire among them. His partnership with the talented Carzzy and ZaZee (both formerly on SLO summer semifinalists KIYF) may yield interesting results. On top of that, WhiteKnight’s presence provides stability in the top lane that few would match in the region.
The lineup will evolve in a stacked DACH region that may rival the SuperLiga Orange (Spain) in strength. Indeed, Ad Hoc Gaming, FC Schalke 04 Esports and SK Gaming have built great lineups. Meanwhile, 2018 front runners mousesports and EURONICS Gaming have performed minimal changes since the 2018 ESL Meisterschaft Winter tournament.
In the previous year, Berlin International Gaming struggled to reach the top spots, but made a solid impression across the board. Evidently, their absence from the ESL Meisterschaft Winter playoffs was an immense surprise. Indeed, following their 1-1 tie against last-place Tempered Fate.
