Echo Fox acquire Hakuho, Apollo and Solo in trade

Clutch Gaming have announced on Twitter that they have sent Apollo, Hakuho and Solo to Echo Fox. The announcement follows several reports involving both teams.

Colin “Solo” Earnest, Nickolas “Hakuho” Surgent and Apollo “Apollo” Price were on Clutch Gaming in 2018. The trio, alongside Fabian “Febiven” Diepstraten and Nam “LirA” Tae-you, reached the playoff semifinals during the spring split and participated in the Regional Gauntlet. However, both Clutch and Echo Fox are rebuilding their squads, leading to a swap of players.

Indeed, Echo Fox have reportedly lost Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon to Clutch Gaming. On top of that, Twin Galaxies have since added that Clutch may have acquired Tanner “Damonte” Damonte as well. And Jacob Wolf noted on ESPN Esports that Echo Fox are seeking destinations for Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett in a bizarre turn of events, after the team signed Kim “SSONG” Sang-soo.

Clutch Gaming may have ended their offseason with the signings set above. Indeed, Clutch Academy’s bot lane duo may take over the LCS spots. Chae “Piglet” Gwang-jin has become a resident in the LCS, and his pairing alongside Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme can continue in the LCS. LirA and Huni would count as imports, but the situation that prevented Piglet from playing in the LCS is no longer in play.
