Illuminar Gaming announce Ultraliga Season 1 roster

Illuminar Gaming have announced their lineup ahead of the Ultraliga’s Season 1 (2019). The move follows several departures from its lineup to the LEC and its academy teams.

The lineup has the makings of a dream team in Poland, as some of the best players outside of Rogue Academy have joined it. In fact, Illuminar is bouncing back from losing Paweł “Woolite” Pruski to Rogue Academy, and Marek “Humanoid” Brázda to Splyce. The current team is as follows:

Illuminar currently fields three finalists from the finals of the Ultraliga Season 0. There, delord’s side prevailed over Kashtelan and Puki style’s (Pompa Team). Pompa Team later closed down its Fortnite, Hearthstone, League of Legends and Quake divisions for various reasons. As a result, the two carries joined Illuminar alongside former Ultraliga playoff participant Raven up top, and French league participant Crazy.

Had Rogue Academy not fielded their monstrous roster, the lineup would have been a front runner for the top of the Ultraliga. However, all is not lost: in previous years, Poland fielded two representatives. If the Ultraliga becomes the sole league in Poland, Illuminar could still play for second place. With former Team ROCCAT head coach Veggie at their helm, they could have a shot at reaching the finals, bar unfavorable bracket draws.
