KaSing transfers to exceL Esports for 2019
Raymond “Kasing” Tsang has joined exceL Esports for the 2019 LEC season. The player, who had a contract with Splyce, is the first signing of the organization.
Kasing joins the team as its starting support and team captain. The player is known for his playmaking since 2015, when he helped H2K Gaming reach the World Championship. Since then, his career went down and up again, as he played on Team Vitality, Red Bulls (in the Challenger scene in 2017) and on Splyce.
Kasing was not originally a decision maker on H2K Gaming, but a facilitator to Petter “Hjärnan” Freyschuss on Summoners’ Rift, and to Neil “pr0lly” Hammad on a macro standpoint. The player’s move to Red Bulls helped him improve as a leader, as he learned to be more assertive — and he had to be, around four rookies. Later on, he joined Splyce and further improved on that regard, as he involved his teammates in the process.
Kasing’s departure will hurt Splyce, as they seek a support to fill his shoes. The team may have already received a proven leader in top laner Tamas “Vizicsacsi” Kiss, but additional help and playmaking from the support position would do wonders. In the meanwhile, one of their opponents in 2019, exceL, has laid solid foundations in this pick. As long as the lineup they build around him is capable of improving and competing, exceL would be able to make a mark off the bat.
