Norskeren joins Splyce for the 2019 LEC season

Toer Hoel “Norskeren” Eilertsen has joined Splyce for the 2019 LEC season, the team revealed on Twitter. The player thus ends his offseason on a positive note.

Norskeren was one of the brightest prospects in the 2018 season. The Norwegian support was a key facilitator on Team ROCCAT, and they reached the 2018 LCS spring playoffs as a result. Although the team failed to reach the playoffs during the summer split, his ability to set up plays placed him in a seemingly favorable position heading into the 2019 offseason. However, Norskeren’s offseason started on a bumpy note, as he seemingly fielded no offers. That is, until Splyce announced his arrival on Dec. 4, bringing an end to his free agency.

The player joins a rebuilding squad with plenty of leadership, as Tamas “Vizicsacsi” Kiss joins in as a key contributor. In addition, Andrei “Xerxe” Dragomir blossomed into Splyce’s most prized asset during the summer split and improved his communication skills. Furthermore, Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup asserted himself as a communicative hypercarry, providing communication from the bot lane alongside the departed Raymond “Kasing” Tsang.

Norskeren joins Marek “Humanoid” Brázda as the final two pieces of the lineup, providing playmaking at their positions. Should Splyce’s coaching staff leverage their skills as they polished Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer’s and Xerxe’s in 2018, Splyce may be a darkhorse for the playoff race and potentially beyond.
