Rogue to add Sencux and Larssen, complete roster
Rogue may have completed their roster with a pair of mid laners, according to an ESPN Esports report. Jacob Wolf noted that Chres “Sencux” Laursen and Emil “Larssen” Larsson may have joined the team for 2019.
Additionally, the report adds to Kim “Kenzi” Yong-woo’s tweet highlighting the possible arrivals of Kim “Wadid” Bae-in and Kim “Profit” Jun-hyung. Before that, Martin “HeaQ” Kordmaa and Mateusz “Kikis” Szkudlarek were highlighted as possible hires. Should the signings come to fruition, Rogue have the makings of an extremely flexible team.
Sencux may not have had the best 2018 showing, but he showcased willingness to play around his teammates. When the team’s win conditions centered around him, he delivered most of the time. Such was the case when he played Zoe (3W-0L, 11.33 KDA), Irelia, Swain and Syndra. However, his time spent on Ryze, Galio and Azir was far less successful.
Should Sencux fall apart during the spring split, the team are projected to sign Larssen for the 2019 LEC summer split. The player recently revealed that he would focus on finishing school before dedicating himself to his career. He also noted that he would play during the spring split in EU Masters.
The pressure falls upon Rogue’s coaching staff to mesh the team together. The organization recently announced the hires of Simon “Fredy122” Payne and Edward “Edward” Abgaryan for that purpose. Whether they will be working with the rumored lineup remains up in the air.
Update: Dec. 1 @ 17:30 CET — Sencux has formally joined the lineup, adding one more team player. Profit remains the only player unannounced at this date.
