Sertuss reveals FC Schalke 04 Academy roster

Sertuss reveals FC Schalke 04 Academy roster

German mid laner Daniel “Sertuss” Gamani has stated that he is teaming up with four other players, potentially in FC Schalke 04 Esports Academy. If so, the squad would compete in the DACH Premier Tour circuit and, potentially, the European Masters.

Although Sertuss did not state that he would play for FC Schalke 04 Esports’ Academy squad, rumors abound regarding that lineup in particular. In fact, a recent post on Reddit supports those rumors, but does not fully confirm the event. FC Schalke 04 Esports have not publicly communicated on the matter at the time of writing.

Reddit user lolxot123 highlighted the clip where Sertuss points out some of his future teammates, and it goes as follows:

—  Simon “Ventair” Tschammer
—  Lukas “Lurox” Thoma
—  Daniel “Sertuss” Gamani
—  Tarik “Sedrion” Holz
—  Love “Bravado” Rapp

Outside of Sertuss, the players have experienced some measure of success on their respective local leagues. The most successful among them in Germany is none other than Ventair. Indeed, he has won the 2018 ESL Meisterschaft Winter tournament as a member of EURONICS Gaming. He also finished in third place in the Premier Tour 2018/2019 Winter event. He also reached the semifinals of the EU Masters summer event.

Joining him in the jungle would be Lurox, a member of Ad Hoc Gaming’s squad, considered as one of the strongest in the DACH region. However, the team’s performance dipped down the stretch, and they were unable to to make their mark in recent Premier Tour events and in the recent ESL Meisterschaft (suffering surprising upset losses in the latter). The player also played in the EU Masters spring event on SPGeSports, reaching the main event’s group stage.

In the bot lane lies the experienced Sedrion. The AD carry came close to, but didn’t reach the LEC twice: in 2014 on Reason Gaming, and in 2015 on mousesports. He competed in the Spanish circuit in 2018, then returned to mouz for the Premier Tour, but he didn’t play in the Meisterschaft. Sedrion will play alongside Bravado, a newcomer to the competitive scene who has consistently finished in the Top Four (or better) in Sweden and in the Nordic region.

Update: Jan. 7 at 20:45 CET

Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider has confirmed that Sertuss and his teammates will represent FC Schalke 04 Esports. The team will play in the DACH Premier Tour circuit.
