Splyce Vipers: Tierwulf’s visa issues nearly solved, Sharp stands in
Sebastian “Tierwulf” Mateluna has announced on Twitter that he will be missing the first day of SuperLiga Orange action. As a result, his team, Splyce Vipers, will field substitute Anders “Sharp” Lilleengen.
Tierwulf noted that the team has been working hard at solving his visa issues. In fact, his visa struggles are nearing an end, as he awaits a final approval. However, he may miss a month of play at worst. The matter led the team to sign Sharp as a substitute.
Sharp is no stranger to regional leagues. Indeed, he has played in the Esports Balkan League, the Nordic Championship circuit, and the Iberian cup. The player had a significant impact in 2017 on Wind And Rain’s Balkan squad, and in Norwegian team Fact Revolution. Recently, he moved to Giants Gaming’s academy squad, and was facing the possibility of seeing little play. As such, the opportunity will help him develop further under the leadership of Peter Dun and Timotej “Zen” Štempihar.
In the meantime, the team may be busy handling Tierwulf’s situation, as he could be an asset in their endeavors in the SuperLiga Orange squad and the LEC. The jungler’s leadership prowess has helped Kaos Latin Gamers reach the World Championship, and they will come in handy upon his arrival in Europe.
