Totoro to play on Team BattleComics at KeSPA Cup 2018

Eun “Totoro” Jong-seop has returned to South Korea for the 2019 LCK season. He will be playing on Team BattleComics during the 2019 KeSPA Cup.

The Korean Esports Association (KeSPA) unveiled the rosters of the cup’s participants on Dec. 14, and Totoro’s name emerged on Team BattleComics. The player joins two other supports on the lineup, turning the battle for the starting position into one of the fiercest in the LCK. Indeed, BtC have qualified over KongDoo Monster through the Challengers Korea summer season, and over Team MVP and bbq Olivers through the 2019 spring promotion tournament.

However, Totoro does have a solid shot at landing a spot within the roster. Before leaving South Korea in 2018, the support greatly contributed to bbq’s survival in the LCK. Later on, he adapted to life in Europe as a member of the Unicorns of Love, but the team was unable to reach the playoffs.

Totoro’s experience would come in handy on Team BattleComics. In fact, the team has offered him a chance to reunite with Ghost, who had a subpar season without his aid. In addition, BtC also promoted solo queue phenom Wizer to the starting lineup. Wizer’s impact on Gangplank is particularly noteworthy, and it will be interesting to watch him adapt to the stage environment.
